Not so shy Dan
January 09, 2008
Yo guys - Happy New Year to you all, here we go again another column from Dan Thornhill the “journalist” or perhaps after reading this you might think otherwise.
Had a good break for Christmas, went down to the dusty parts of Spain in the hard-pack, rode every other day, for a couple of weeks, and had a real brill time, and plenty of fun off the bike. Where else could you be on the beach and in the sea on Christmas Day, and have a barbecue for Christmas Dinner.
I also popped up the snowy mountains for a bit of sledging to finish our hols off.
Got back just in time to get off up the ACU House for a Media Day, very good and very interesting, learnt a lot about interviewing and talking to other people, as I am quite shy, this was a great help to me and I really enjoyed it - but perhaps I didn’t do quite so well this time. I would like to say thanks to everyone involved in organising this day.
It might take a few more days like that, for Chris to sort me out?
P.S. Before I close I would like to say thanks to the ACU Academy, T&W Racing for their continued support for this year also Pirelli Tyres, Hardcore Racing and Mike Pitt from Unique Plant for their support for 2008 and by the time I write next time I’m sure there is going to be more to add.
Look forward to seeing Mark, Ray and all the Guys at the next scheduled event.
