Thornhill suffers heartbreak before BYMX in Ireland

ACU Academy heart shot Daniel Thornhill suffered a broken wrist just a day before leaving for the first round of the BYMX championship in Northern Ireland.
“I had a bit of trouble with my wrist whilst out practicing with guys from the Academy at Wildmoor.
Just to put you in the picture I have broken my wrist after a silly little mistake, pretty gutted as it was so close to Desertmartin.
I have been getting up to speed just recently and was so looking forward to 2008 season.
I would like to wish all my fellow academy riders all the best for Desertmartin - wish I could be with you guys and all my other mates and race-partners, I will be keeping an eye on Mylaps to see how you’re getting on.
Just like to say a big thanks to Roy and Mark from the ACU Academy and a big thanks to Mark for all your hard work and time you have put into me over the winter in getting me up to speed - Watch this space, I will be back!!
