Gamesy’s winter wrap up

January 14, 2008

Not a lot to write about really, havent rode over the Christmas period as I moved house. Was nice to have a break from the cold weather and rain though. Luckily for me theres a gym two minutes down the road from where I live now so I've been spending a lot of time there. Been in the gym for a good few weeks now and my fitness is looking good for the fast approaching season, I just need to touch on a couple of things.

Ive just got back from a weekend at Dunkirk with my good mates Josh Waterman and Josh Williams, it was a really good weekend. I have started riding my 250f now as I've been riding my 250 two stroke and I'm getting faster and faster everytime I ride. The KTM is a really great bike (I love it)! My Dad (Rob) has a hard time pulling me way from the track.

The ACU Academy had a media off-bike training day a week ago. Journalist Chris Carter taught us some important points we needed to brush up on when looking for sponsors or taking an interview. Chris was a big help as I seem to struggle with little things like this. We all had to do a small interview which was then filmed and played back on a big screen, it was really embarrasing but everyone did it so was funny to watch over.

Th ACU Academy has a fitness seminar this weekend which includes a fitness test, I'm looking forward to doing it to see how I compare to others and a nutristionist (I'll let you know my results of the test) Before I shoot off I would just like to say Big Thank you to a couple of people .... Thanks Albert Stewart and Ash Kane at Thor, Andy Bright at Brights Auto Centre (Bristol), Andrew Marsh (MarshMX) of Merthyr Tydfil, Mark at Eurotek and my Mum and Dad for all their support and hard work.

Speak to you next week guy's
