The tradgic death of Matt Jones this weekend just gone has really rocked my boat. I was at a schoolboy event two weekends ago and to think one of those little whipper snappers will not grow old has really pissed me off and made me angry. It's nobody's fault but it certainly makes you realise life is precious doesn't it? I'd love to think Matt bowed to his final curtain happy though doing the thing that he loves. It highlights the dangers of the sport and I hope it doesn't put parents off putting their kids into this sport. Yes it's more dangerous then football, golf or tennis but it's much more rewarding than those sports; and I'm not talking finicially. I hope Matt is bashing berm clouds as you read this. I'm sure his parents are already finding out how much the motocross community think of a fellow competitor and friend. I didn't know the kid but I can garantee he will be missed.
