Issue 26

A picture says a thousand words, in which case this months lead feature is about 60,000 words long! In what some cynical folk may call a cop-out (well tend to differ) weve decided to do something pretty much unprecedented in UK motocross media and produce 46 uninterrupted pages of motocross action in all it's glory through the eye of a lens.

This past year has been a strenuous and emotional one for us; taking this magazine from a bi-monthly publication to what it is now, under its new Factory Media banner, has not always been smooth sailing its been tough. There is so much that myself and the crew want to achieve as we strive to be original and differ from what is the norm. So, a photo blow-out as Blissy likes to call it has actually been in the pipeline since February if my memory serves me well, the question was when was the best time to do it? Well, obviously, it was now.

Its been another great season in the world of competitive motocross racing. Weve seen some amazing battles evolve this year both here in Europe and also Stateside. There have been the usual ups and downs for riders, teams and fans alike, as there are every season in a sport that provides high drama off the circuit as well as on it. There have been fights and there have been acts of true sportsmanship. Theres been heartbreak, and theres been ecstasy. Theres been sun, and there has been rain. As always theres been just about every emotion known to man. Basically there has been so much to look back on that there is simply not enough room in this magazine to put it into words, so on this occasion we decided to let the pictures do the talking.

After that all thats left now is time for reflection and the joy of Christmas shopping before we come hurtling back around for another stab at the one thing that keeps us sort alive. In the meantime, try to get the most use you can out of your Christmas jumper and underwear so you can use it as an oily rag come March. Lets end it there for 2007 eh? Thanks for your support, opinions and emails and thanks for another memorable year. Enjoy yourselves and well see you all fresh eyed and bushy tailed in the new year, after all we will be well bushy eyed and fresh tailed at the very least.

Good health
