Age limit for riders of Automatic MX machines

Following the recent Meeting of the ACU’s Motocross Committee, Chairman, Roy Humphrey wishes to inform you of the change to the Age Limit for Automatic Licence holders from 1st January 2008. Further to suggestions raised throughout the season the Committee have agreed to allow riders an extra year on the Auto’s for those competitors who do not feel ready to ride a geared machine. ACU Clubs will now be given the opportunity to run an Automatic Group A Class for riders aged 6 - 7 years, or an Automatic Group B Class for riders aged 6 – 8 years. There will be no changes to engine or wheel size.Send this article to a friend
