LETTERS FROM AMERICA - GOOD MORNING BUDDS CREEK

September 22, 2007

The British team awoke this morning with a nightmare start to the day.

As reported yesterday Tommy Searle had his bike compounded by the USA customs office due to food allegedly found in the crate.
Tommy’s mechanic Gareth Edmonds waited around until midnight for the bikes to arrive but at 8am this morning the factory KTM 250F was still not at Budds Creek.

Further reports we have picked up this morning is that the bikes are having a Police escort from New York City straight to the MXDN circuit – let’s just wait and see.

The above story also affects the Italian team – not good news for Cairoli.

On a brighter note for Britain, Steven Clarke wiped the floor in his class at the evening supercross event and now has only one more race this evening to pick up a cool pay cheque.
