Man it’s been a long time coming, motocross hits Little Silver in Devon
February 20, 2008
This weekend will see the first British championship event take place at the Little Silver circuit in Devon. This event is packed full of riders due to three different championship races taking place. We’ll start with the British under21 championship field, last year’s champion Ray Rowson is not competing in this class this time around but to choose a winner would be near on impossible.
Just take a look at the list on the MMX site, you have the likes of Alex Snow, Ashley Greedy, Kristian Whatley, Joe Dark, Luke Remmer, David Games, Alan Keet, Shane Carless, Matthew Moffat and Mel Pocock – pick a winner out of that lot, I know it’s impossible and remember, you have another 30/40 riders breathing down their necks.
Next we have the British Ladies championship, don’t know too much about the chicks but one rider stands out and that’s Natalie Kane – quite possibly the fastest motocross babe on the planet. Whatever happens, it’s great to see the girls racing at a championship event on the same day as the men – good stuff!

Last but no means least we have the replacement for the British four stroke class – the British open championship where anything goes, I mean bike wise not all out UFC rules. Just like the 21’s the open class is impossible to call, Wayne Smith, Jim Murro, Mark Hucklebridge, Jamie Law, Scott Probert, Richard Lawson, Alex Rach, Jordan Rose, John May, Ray Rowson, Bryan Mackenzie and Lewis Gregory – man that’s a line up!
To say the MOTO team are pumped about this championship is an understatement, our own MOTO/Twisted 7 team with Bry Mac, Rich Lawson and Jack Hawes are all there, video footage will be online sometime Monday, as well as all the usual site gossip and news from Little Silver – COOL!
Remember to come up and say “Hi” to us friendly folk at MOTO and if Chussy points one of his cameras at you – REMEMBER TO SMILE AND DANCE LIKE A CRAZY FOOL!
