New ACU Academy and MOTO join forces

The all new ACU Academy has been announced for 2008 and MOTO will partner the ACU and the squad for the entire season.

ACU motocross manager Roy Barton was at Stoneleigh and introduced the squad to the crowd on Saturday, “the new ACU Motocross Academy Squad consists of six riders selected in conjunction with the recently appointed coach - former Grand Prix Motocross rider Mark Hucklebridge. In addition to courses at Sport England Centres of Excellence, the Squad will also be entered into a number of European and International events”, explained Roy.

MOTO’s Ray Chuss also explained the involvement with the squad involves, “MOTO’s involvement will see Youth motocross in the UK take an exciting step forward with regular website updates, blogs, images, videos and anything else that the ACU Academy are involved with, the team of riders that were chosen to represent the ACU are an outstanding mix of talent and enthusiasm which is what MOTO Magazine is all about.
The squad will have their own personal page on the MOTO site and this weekend we will make a start with a trip to Dunkirk which all the team is excited about. Checkout http://www.motomagazine.co.uk next week for all the action".
