Paris Bercy Day One - Renet breaks leg and Reed and Langston share race wins.
November 09, 2007
It was all happening on the first night at Paris Bercy Supercross. South African Grant Langston took the first race from Aussie Chad Reed but the surprise of the night is Coisy who finished third.
The positions were reversed in the second race on the ultra tight twisty Bercy circuit as Chad Reed took the spoils from French ace Coisy and Langston third.
Britain’s Max Anstie won the youth race in front of a packed cheering stand.
There’s bad news for Alexander Renet – the young French rider suffered a broken femur in one of the qualifying races and will miss the rest of the weekend.
Molson new boy Paulin Gaultier will now take Renet’s place and compete in the main event.
