**SNATCH SHOTS from Namur**

August 04, 2007

Greetings from the Namur - It looks like being a brilliant weekends racing in the picturesque Belgium town of Namur. One unlucky rider who won't be making the start line-up tomorrow is 1979 World 500cc champion Graham Noyce who unfortunately hit the deck hard in Fridays veteran practise session and was carted off to the local A&E with a suspected broken collarbone.

It was great to see Stefan Everts back on the bike again in today’s session but he won’t be taking part in any racing over the weekend.

All the British lads are looking forward to the racing including James Noble who said, “I always look forward to Namur as I enjoy the technical sections of the circuit”.

I also bumped into Namur first timer Ashley Greedy who explained that the circuit is much like what he rides at home – lots of steep hilly sections.

Anyway I’m off to bed as it’s an early start – expect more SNATCH SHOTS tomorrow.
