The Brits did well in this afternoons MX2 qualifying races, Searle, Nicholls, Dougan, Barr and Rowson all went through on the first attempt. Banks Browne, Church, Nunn and Greedy all need to pull out the stops in a very tough looking LCQ. It was Dougan and Nicholls who looked super fast especially the Fork-Rent Suzuki of Dougan who was way down on the first lap but put in some blistering lap times to finish an impressive 10th in the first qualifying session. Ashley Greedy suffered with a big off down in the wooded section of the circuit and pulled in holding his ribs. Carl Nunn didn’t come around with the pack on the first lap but due to the circuits design nobody knew what had happened. LCQ is going to be mega tough so expect fireworks later today. Latest news on British veteran rider Graham Noyce is that he may well have a punctured lung...MOTO will confirm later.
