This Years Dirt Bike Show will run from 13-16 November
February 25, 2008
The Dirt Bike Show moves back to its traditional mid-November slot at Stoneleigh Park this year and for the first time in its nine-year history will run before the NEC Motorcycle Show.
David Watson of Promoto, the organisers of the Show since it first ran at Stoneleigh Park in 2000, believes that running ahead of the International Motorcycle Show at the NEC will be positive for the off-road scene.
“Manufacturers frequently premiere new models at the Dirt Bike Show, like KTM with their radical new quad last year.” He continues. “We expect to see more new machine launches at Stoneleigh Park thanks to the later dates for the NEC event and that will create a buzz at our Show that’s good for exhibitors, visitors and the offroad world in general.”
Results from the Show Survey reveal that 40% of visitors come to the Dirt Bike Show primarily to view new motorcycles and quads. Record numbers of visitors and exhibitors attended the 2007 Dirt Bike Show and major celebrities, such as Stefan Everts and Billy Mackenzie, frequently mingled with the crowds during the 4-day event.
The 2008 Dirt Bike Show will run at Stoneleigh Park from Thursday 13th – Sunday 16th November.
