Two different winners at two different European SX events
November 26, 2007
This weekend saw a clash of Supercross events in mainland Europe which to honest isn’t doing Supercross a whole lot of good this side of the Atlantic.
Firstly you had the European Championship round in Genoa where Tony Cairoli took full advantage of the missing French riders to secure his championship lead in the series.
Then over in Spain the annual Barcelona SX took place which in my opinion had the superior line up of riders with a sprinkling of USA and French stars on show. Nick Way did the business there but imagine what a great event if all riders were at one show – come on promoters we want the best riders racing the best or we may end up even further behind the Americans at Supercross than we already are.
