ALLOY ATOM GLOVE

March 30, 2007

Glovage.

The Atom is the top line glove in the Alloy range. I gotta say it is a good, comfy mitt because I tried them on then proceeded to make a brew and down a few chocolate Hob-Nobs forgetting I had them on. OK, that doesn’t mean they’re the perfect MX glove but surely comfort plays a major part in anyone’s opinion. The palms and thumbs are constructed from Clarino, now excuse my ignorance but I haven’t a scooby what that is, what I do know is that it’s bloody comfy. Breathable Lycra on the fingers and perforated thumb panels help the limitation of sweaty palms, ideal then if you're off clubbing to perv over some fit birds or is that just a medical condition I have? Injected rubber protects your knuckles and a second palm layer increases the gripping surface, ideal if you own a 450 or happen to be behind one. Available in most sizes from Tom Thumb to Pat Jennings and more colours than the paint shelf at Homebase, £29.99 seems reasonable to me. — Jeff.
