Big turnout for East Anglia SSC

East Anglia SSC held its 4th round of the Club Championship at East Hanningfield, Considering the rain forecast a good number of competitors turned out. The circuit was slick in morning practice but the rain held off which made for some close and fast racing.
Out first was the senior group on a track that was still wet in places, this didn’t phase Ross Clarke who put together two wins and a second to secure the overall, Dayne Pritlove had a consistent day which was good for second, with Sean Bardwell third.
Then it was the AMX group on what was becoming a rutted and technical track, Dave Fearne took two determined wins and a third to take the overall, Stevie Hedditch came in second with three good rides, Darren Arscott bagged a win and a second but a bad race one meant third overall.
Next to tackle this ever drying circuit was the B/W 85s , Jamie Rayner had a storming day with one of only two maximums, Connor Ward also put together three great rides for second, with a consistent Bradley Banks in third.
The S/W 85s gave the crowd a maximum also with Mason Law delivering three dominating races to take the overall, Connor Dennis had a good day also to come home second with George Hunter having three great rides for third.
The Juniors put on a great display as the track was getting rutted and rough, Connor Hughes stormed to two wins and a second to secure the overall, Austin Eary bagged a win and two seconds slotted into second, Jacob Warner had three consistent races to secure third.
Then it was the Auto show with some great racing providing a mix of results but eventually it was Carl Budge who came out on top, with James Dutton having a good day in second and Eton Williams third. A shout has to go to Dylan Woodcock who had two wins, was it not for a DNF in race one his day would have been a lot different.
