EASSC - No run of the ‘Mil’

First out was the Auto group, where Dylan Woodcock took a maximum of wins, however second and third place was a battle between Jake Kemp taking second and Carl Budge third. The Juniors were up next and provided the crowd with an entertaining days racing as the standard of riders was very high, George Turner managed to clinch the overall result without taking a single win, Callum Heasman took second having had two wins but a fall in the second race cost him, Alfie Bowtell rounded out the podium with an up and down day.
The small wheel class was dominated in true style by Ben Watson, showing the 85cc regulars how to do it on a 65cc machine taking all three race wins, Mason Law had three consistent seconds, with Ben Beadle taking third spot.
The big wheel class was action packed as usual with Jake Page taking three strong wins, Nathan Watson was next with three good rides, and Jamie Rayner rode well to take the final step on the podium.
Next out was the Adult group with Steve Bixby showing a full line up of riders how to take three convincing wins in true style, Dave Fern had a strong day taking three consistent seconds, with Arron Wakefield taking third.
The seniors promises to be an entertaining group this year as well, with some real talent having moved up from the big wheel class, Rowan Hill took the overall with two wins, however it was Ross Clarke who led the most laps, but is not quite up to full race fitness due to a recent injury, taking second, with Damon Wales taking third spot.
