Lots of great racing at Foxholes

Corsham MX Club hosted round 5 of the club champs on 11 May at Foxholes. Constant watering enabled a huge entry of riders to enjoy 3 blocks of racing.
Darren Banwell took the chequered flag in all 3 races , Paul Hussey and Gavin Flagg rode well finishing in the top 6.
It was great to see some of the old Corsham boys coming back to us, now in the AMX class Luke Densley and Jack Tovey rode well, Luke finished outside the top 6, but must be commended for his efforts. Jamie Hallett and Danny Smith battled in the first 2 races, Danny just holding on the win in races 1 & 2, an unfortunate race 3 pushed him off top spot this weekend. Race 3 saw a fantastic race for the chequered flag, Jack Tovey, Jamie Grindle and Jamie Hallett were side by side , Hallett just managed to edge his front wheel over the line infront of Tovey and Grindle . Mike Oram had another good day finishing 6th overall.
Jordon Booker pushed hard to take first overall , followed by a consistant Ross Keyworth. Alex Hussey rode smooth and safe to secure 3rd overall. Jake Alsop and Kristain Barry seemed to enjoy the Foxholes circuit finishing in the top 6 with Jake Owen.
The Big Wheel group saw some close racing in all 3 races. Luke Dean and Zac Alsop were consistant throughout the day, Chris Grindle and Daniel Guy kept the front runners in sight, Liam Brown and Joe Monk joined the top 6 finishers.
The small wheels wasn’t short of close finishes. Harry Sherman fought hard to take wins in races 1 & 3, Dave Roberts and Michael Burfield kept the pressure on all day . Adam Dyer was flying today, Danielle Marsh rode well with Jed Cocker making up the top 6.
Billy King and Conrad Mewse dominated the junior group, Bradley Rowe wasn’t going to be pushed aside, he held in there to take a well deserved 3rd overall followed by Stefan Millward, Taylor Smith and Callum Wyllie.
A slightly shorter track gave the cadets a demanding 3 races. Clayton Cocker took the chequered flag in 2 races, Marcus Boros can be extremely proud of his win in the first race , settling for 2nd and 4th in the following 2 moto’s. Casey Williams kept that throttle open taking a brilliant 3rd overall. Charlie Townsend, Charlie Cole and Harry Bell can be extremely proud to finish in the top 6 this weekend.
